Dreadful Children poster – PND 002

The second Print’s Not Dead project, this was a three-color silk screened print of a show for Seattle’s Dreadful Children, The Lucky Boys, Barnswallow, and my band Sick Ward. This was a really fun project that incorporated several different elements and processes. We first designed fake cassette spines for each band, printed them out, and inserted them in real jewel cases so we could get the textures correct for a vintage feel.  There are tons of easter eggs in the spines, that was probably the most fun part of the design process. We shot the cassettes, and I sadly sacrificed a friend’s demo tape for art and we shot the unraveled cassette outside on the porch.

We finished a limited run of 12″x 28″ prints and sold them on the day of the show.
