I shot and edited a music video for my band FIXED LENS, for a new EP titled Swept Out To Sea. Shot on location in Berlin with Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k and 6k Pro over the fall and winter of 2022. Check it out on YouTube above!
This September I’m honored to have one of my photographs exhibited in the Lux in Tenebris show, curated by AHUIXA and Lethal Amounts in Los Angeles!
AHUIXA and Lethal Amounts have announced the Lux in Tenebris, an exhibit running September 28th through October 12th. Lux In Tenebris is the Latin term for “in the darkness there is light.” This new exhibit co-curated by Diana Ahuixa and Brooke Kent and produced by Lethal Amounts is a group show featuring artists from the United States, Europe, Japan and more whose work reflects the theme of “darkness. “ The event will feature over 30 artists from around the globe, including Nikol King, Django Nokes, Esther Limones, Orphné Achéron and Alex Reisfar. Over the past month I began filming a music video project for my close friends in Duesenjaeger, an amazing melodic Deutschpunk band from Osnabrück, Germany. I first met the band in 2012 while on tour with my band Countdown to Armageddon, when the two of us played a gig together in Leipzig on a European tour. I was immediately blown away, and we became fast friends over several beers. A couple years later we would collaborate on the Duesenjaeger / Countdown to Armageddon split 7″ [which I did the photography and design for], and we did a mini tour of western and central Germany together to celebrate in 2014.
It was a pleasure getting to shoot one of my favorite artists of late, Chelsea Wolfe, at the legendary SO36 venue in Berlin for Cvlt Nation.

This was really a phenomenal gig, particularly seeing Voivod again after many years (the first time was in 1999 when they toured with Neurosis). Singer Barney Greenway of Napalm Death was sporting a broken arm and managed to have more energy live than most musicians half his age.
My photos and review for The Flesh Eaters and Mudhoney live at Neumos in Seattle has gone live at CVLT Nation! It was a really great and surprisingly packed gig featuring the original line-up from the A Minute to Pray, A Second to Die LP, with John Doe and DJ Bonebrake from X.

I had two really great video shoots recently for The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc.; as part of a series of three video vignettes on their employees who are blind. Each vignette will be woven into a complete piece, and performed at the organization’s Redefining Vision Luncheon in March of 2015.
