Faith and the Muse live at the Catwalk 04.11.2010

I had the fortune of capturing Faith and the Muse on their Ankoku Butoh tour in April of 2010 at the Catwalk, a now-defunct club in Seattle. It was easily one of the more remarkable live shows I’ve ever seen, and that album still remains on constant rotation in my playlist. They combined Butoh performance, tribal belly dance, Taiko drums, post-punk, and gothic rock in such a unique and impressively tasteful way and nothing I’ve seen has come close to this time since.
