The third Print’s Not Dead project, this was a three-color, silk-screened 22″x 28″ poster for Bologna, Italy’s Horror Vacui, Portland’s Vivid Sekt, Countdown to Armageddon, and Arcane at Seattle’s Highline Bar. We staged the photo of Sasha originally with the intention of blocking out the backdrop, but found it provided an interesting visual texture once filmed. The composition of the photo lent itself really well to the type, and allowed us to really dial in our printing process to a science.
