Design project for my Berlin post-punk band TOTENWALD, Forward to the Past EP. This was released on cassette tape in 2019 in advance of a West Coast tour, and then later a vinyl version was developed and released in conjunction with Plastic Bomb Records from Duisburg, DE. I shot the cover and insert photos of our singer Trish in the alleyway of the RAW Gelände in Berlin, then applied an 80s-inspired new wave design. This was a super fun project to put together and I love how the electricity of the pink color and vinyl work together with the cover layout. The back cover photo was shot by our friend and very talented photographer Victor Puigcerver.
